Even after you've set up your policies, you can easily edit them so that any assets assigned to a policy (either directly or through policy inheritance) automatically change their settings to match.
To edit an existing policy, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Policies tab/module. The Policies table displays your existing policies.
- Click the hyperlinked name of a Policy to open the Policy Builder in edit mode:
Note: Syncro's Policy Builder defaults to the read-only Policy Overview section, which ONLY shows the policy categories previously added or disabled. - Edit the Name of the policy if you want.
- In the left panel, click a Policy Category to edit the sections and items within the sections.
Tip: The numbers in parenthesis next to Policy Categories indicate the number of sections enabled/disabled. - After making your changes, click Save Policy. Syncro displays a message indicating your changes are saved.
- If desired, click Back to Policies to return to the Policies tab/module.
